Sanyu Babies’ Home works under the Church of Uganda but operates as an independent organisation. It receives no regular support, and relies almost entirely on donations. There are many ways in which you can support Sanyu Babies’ Home and enable us to take care of our Sanyu Family.

We welcome physical donations of items such as:
- Cow & Gate baby formula milk (0-6 months)
- Feeding bottles
- Pampers/disposable nappies in various sizes, from newborn to toddlers’ pull ups
- Baby wipes
- Baby rocking chairs/soother chairs for the classroom
- Disposable gloves
- Food – rice, milk, sugar, eggs, fresh fruit, vegetables, matooke, potatoes (sweet and Irish), fish, meat, peanut butter, blue band, ground nuts, etc
- Milton sterilising tablets or other brand sterilising tablets
- Cleaning products, for example detergent, bleach, washing up liquid/soap, washing detergent
- Stationary for administration work and classroom
- Activities, toys, books and arts and crafts, suitable for nursery class
- Children’s toothbrushes and children’s toothpaste
- Children’s shoes – Croc style (rubber type flip flops)
